Happy New Year everyone!
Its been awhile but I’m back at it with a new project: Every Day Letter
Towards the end of this project my interest in lettering, writing and typography grew exponentially so this new project is specifically focused on that. I’m also going to be launching a separate 100 day project in the new few days so stay tuned!

Day 1000: Well, here is the last post. I wanted it to be something epic, but I think that the message is more important. I think it’s really easy to commit to something one day, and to forget about it the next, so a project like this really helped me focus on a goal, even if it was super crazy.
I enjoyed getting messages from you guys and even meeting others out in the real world. This project helped me forge some really amazing friendships and connections with different types of people that I normally wouldn’t have. In a weird way it really helped me with my own anxiety and shyness, which is something I didn’t expect.
While this part of my design life is done, I will be starting a new daily project in November. The format will be a little different and I will focus in on a specific discipline, but the sentiment will still be the same. I don’t want to be comfortable and I think a change up is good for the soul. I’m not sure if it’ll be on this blog, or on a new one, but I will let you know.

Day 997: Surrounded by boxes

Day 996: I’ve moved every year for the past three years and it’s so exhausting. I would like to put my roots somewhere.

Day 995: I think like 5 years ago, my choice definitely would have been flight over fight. I think as you get older, you become less scared.

Day 994: Yesterday we rented bikes to go around the city and eventually to go over Williamsburg Bridge. The first half of the bridge requires biking up a steady slope and it’s pretty tiring, but after you hit the apex, and you start going downhill, it becomes exhilarating. Maybe I was a little drunk and a little tired but as we were riding down, I felt really light as I passed streams of light, and I knew it was going to be one of those few memories that will stay with me forever.

Day 993: I think for me, visiting NYC is way more exciting than actually living here.
